KUWAIT.....at last
Kuwait towers and the view from top..a little dusty weather..... and it's a pity the glass in the tower wasn't clean!!
You could see the main Boulevard(Guld Street)which runs practically along the whole coastline.
Right next
to the main fish market (you see in the back)
lies the marina for fishing boats....
cool!!
Gateway to the Gulf...right under the bridge to one of the biggest malls in Kuwait city
This beautiful marina (one of many marinas on the Gulf) lies just in front of Ash- Sharg Mall.
There many cafes over-looking the marina .... sip your coffee and enjoy the view!!
I have never seen this before...a Mcdonald's right in the middle of the desert...I mean : no houses, no streets just the desert!!
I have always wanted to visit Kuwait it's only a four-hour drive from where I live but everytime i intended to go there, something came up(one of them being the Iraqi invasion).Until at last we managed to go and see this delightful small Gulf State, where we met very hospitable people and saw the most beautiful long  coastline on the Arabian Gulf, that was where I spent most of my 48 hours trip, just love the sea and the marinas.
In Kuwait city the new meets the old,of course this was my scout visit so I didn't really see much ,I just took a general idea of the country,I still look forward to my next visit where I will see the many small museums they have , the Scientific centre, and the old souks.
